Assisted Living
Assisted Living is an essential component of the Marian Estates community of living options. It provides the kind of care you need, when you need it, in a place that offers the warmth of home, the security and friendship of family, and the opportunity to live a full life with dignity and the spirit of independence. Our two Assisted Living facilities are:
- Elliott Residence
- McKillop Residence
Creating a warm environment with opportunities to enjoy friends and scheduled activities is the goal of Elliott and McKillop Residences. At Marian Estates, we want to cater to your needs while giving you privacy and space. Complete with comfortable, locking suites featuring kitchenettes and your personal furnishings, common dining areas, recreation and a wide array of flexible, supportive services, assisted living at Marian Estates makes this possible.
Medication Management
(This is an additional charge to the base rate.)
For those residents who require only medication management, Marian Estates can help stay on top of your medication regimen.
Diabetic Care
(This is an additional charge to the base rate.)
It is necessary not only to treat the diabetes but to monitor the effects of treatment on blood glucose levels to avoid overtreatment or undertreatment of the diabetes. Our nursing consultant trained staff will be well-equiped to monitor, test, treat and communicate diabetic care needs with a physician as necessary.
Personal Service Level I
(This is an additional charge to the base rate.)
- Meal reminders
- Reminders of appointments and activities of daily living (bathing, doctor appointments, hair appointments, wake up calls)
- Basic health, which includes monthly vital sign checks including blood pressure
- Occasional assistance with walking or mobility
- Occasional assistance and or cueing with transfers (out of bed, into chair)
Personal Service Level II
(This is an additional charge to the base rate.)
In addition to the services provided in Level I you will also receive the following:
- Medication management
- Assistance with activities of daily living such as set up for grooming, dressing, bathing (1-2 times weekly), incontinence and dining room escorts
- Assistance with ambulation daily
- Assistance with ordering incontinence supplies
Personal Service Level III
(This is an additional charge to the base rate.)
In addition to the services listed in Level I and II, you will also receive the following:
- Hands on direct care with dressing, grooming, bathing (showers or whirlpool 1-2 times weekly)
- Routine incontinence care (except incontinence products)
- 1 person assistance with all transfers
- Nighttime care (frequent checks for safety)

Assisted Living Resident Fee (non-refundable) $750
Resident fees vary at each level of care within the Marian Estates campus. Residents moving between rooms, units and/or levels of care will be subject to the applicable fees.
Monthly fee of $100 will be added for a pet - small pets welcome (subject to approval by Assisted Living Administrator)
Monthly fee of $350 will be added per level of services provided
Monthly fee of $325 will be added for medication management
Monthly fee of $150 will be added for diabetic care
Base rate inclusions
- 24 hour staff
- 24-hour emergency call system
- Three homemade meals daily, restaurant style
- Weekly laundry service (we do not provide linen)

Respite Care
The Assisted Living facilities at Marian Estates also offer short-term care that provides a temporary break from daily care giving responsibilities. Using respite services can support and strengthen your ability to continue taking care of your loved one.
